What belongs in a behaviour briefing (and what does not)

A useful briefing is shorter than a slide museum. Here is the spine we reuse across audits.

Checklist and notebook on a wooden surface

The spine

  1. Decision the engagement was hired to support
  2. Methods and sample limits
  3. Observed behaviours with evidence
  4. Analytics reconciliation
  5. Recommendations tied to the decision
  6. Open questions

What we leave out

We leave out maturity models, logo walls of methods, and pages of screenshots without captions. Those pages make briefings look heavy while hiding the sentence the team needed.

Length

Most audit briefings land between eight and fourteen pages including appendix tables. If yours needs forty, the decision framing was probably too wide โ€” consider splitting journeys across engagements.
